Bellevue Living: Engineering high-rise apartment towers

DCI provided structural and civil services for this project, and helped the design team overcome some unique challenges.

Project Highlights

  • Achieved a long span curvilinear floor plate with minimal columns so that the layouts of the living units were not compromised.
  • Gravity framing system consists of concrete columns and post-tensioned concrete floor slabs.
  • Contains 21 levels of apartment space, two levels of retail space, and four levels of below-grade parking.
  • Civil services included the design of storm drainage, sewer, fire and domestic water services subdrains, street improvements, and erosion control plans.
