"Stadium Place represents 20-years of neighborhood efforts to bring economic development to Pioneer Square. The east block will serve as the commercial hub for Stadium Place bringing new workers, shoppers and visitors to the neighborhood."

Engineering high-rise solutions for the West Coast’s largest TOD

DCI Engineers provided structural design services for North Lot’s “east block” project, the commercial portion of the larger Stadium Place development. North Lot “east block” supports an existing residential tower with hotel, retail, office, and parking infrastructure. The project includes two buildings extending 240-ft above-grade: one will be a hotel and the other will be an office tower. Once complete, Stadium Place will be considered the largest transit oriented development (TOD) on the West Coast.

Project Highlights

  • Hotel structure is 24 stories tall and the office/parking structure includes parking, a health club, a conference level, 12-stories of office space, and roof top restaurant.
  • The project includes a covered skybridge connecting the two buildings at Levels 6 and 8 and a non-accessible roof structure at Level 3 covers the arcade space between the two buildings.
  • Upon completion, the overall Stadium Place development will be considered the largest TOD on the West Coast.
