UCSD EAST MESA CAMPUS HOUSING

Increased Demand for On-Campus Housing:  Green Living for UCSD Graduate Students and Their Families

While student population and demand for housing continues to climb at the University of California San Diego, the institution maintains its goal of housing 50% of the student population on-campus. Not only would UC Regents break ground for new graduate student housing to accommodate this vision, they would do so using state-of-the-art design and sustainable materials.

DCI provided the structural design services for this 1,355-bed residential complex, which includes 250 unfurnished bedrooms ranging from one-to-three bedroom options, as well as 850 micro apartments. Construction materials include durable concrete frame structures that will enhance longevity, flexibility and sustainably.
