Woodin Creek Village

Woodinville’s Village: Extending downtown commerce with a mixed-use town center

When complete, Woodin Creek Village project will consist of eight new mixed-use buildings in an up-and-coming, pedestrian-friendly residential/retail development. Street level businesses will provide commerce in the evening hours and serve as an extension of downtown Woodinville. The buildings will comprise of a concrete commercial/retail podium level with above-grade, wood-framed residential floors; or a “wrap” configuration which has a multi-level, light gauge steel garage in the center enclosed by wood-framed residential floors. There will be an estimated 800 multifamily townhouse units.

DCI Engineers provided structural designs for the primary lateral and gravity systems for all three phases of the project. This includes the design of the foundation plans; steel stud and shear wall framing plans; floor framing plans; roof framing plans; mild reinforcing and PT plans for garage levels; walkway bridge elevation and details; and foundation, concrete, wall framing, floor framing, and roof details. The structural engineering team also provided construction support services.
