DCI Engineers, a structural and civil engineering firm based in Seattle, Washington, is excited to announce its recent acquisition of a structural engineering firm in San Francisco, California.  Structural Design Engineers (SDE) and DCI Engineers are now functioning as one operation in the Bay Area, known as DCI+SDE Engineers (DCI+SDE).  Principal Jeff Brink, previously located in DCI Engineers’ Seattle office, has relocated to San Francisco in order to oversee the development of the new DCI+SDE entity.  By combining SDE’s longstanding reputation in the community with DCI’s core values of S

This office will be led by Principal Damon Smith, who has relocated to Irvine from our Spokane office.  Our new location will uphold DCI’s longstanding traditions of Service, Innovation, and Value, and will provide civil and structural services for a variety of project types.

Promotions and New Hire in Austin

DCI Engineers is very proud to announce new leadership changes and a strategic hire in the Austin office.  Steve Edmiston and Kris Swanson have been promoted to Associate Principal.  Steve Edmiston joined the Austin office in early 2009.  With over 10 years of experience, Steve has worked on a variety of projects including a high-profile resort in Cabo San Lucas, luxury residences in Aruba, and several student housing projects along the Eastern seaboard.
