DCI welcomes new CFO and Principal in Charge of BD

DCI Engineers recently concluded its quarterly shareholders meeting in Irvine, California where the Principals voted in two additions to the DCI Shareholders Group: Carey Goetz and Donald Tuttle, both from the Seattle, Washington office.  Goetz has been promoted to the position of Chief Financial Officer and Tuttle has been promoted to Principal in Charge of Business Development.

Carey Goetz has been with the company for the last two and a half years as the company’s Controller, bringing over 23 years of extensive  accounting experience. His first ten years were spent as an accountant in the engineering environment within the aerospace industry. Goetz then moved into the role that eventually brought him to DCI, the construction industry, where his time was divided between the general contractor environment and a design/engineer environment. At his appointment as a shareholder, he looks to continue full control of all internal accounting and financing roles, in addition to maintaining strong relations with outside financial institutions, external CPA firms, and legal advisors.  Goetz is also looking to continue developing close ties with operations in order to transfer knowledge, information, direction and recommendations in order to assist with positive growth, direction and success of the company.

Don Tuttle has been with the company for the last three years as the Director of Business Development. He came to DCI with over 25 years of experience and a vast network in the A/E/C industry. Previously he was the CMO for Karlsberger Architects in Columbus, OH and Director of Business Development and Marketing at MulvannyG2 Architecture in Bellevue, Washington. He will be involved with the strategic positioning of the firm’s 7 offices on a local, regional and national basis; participate and contribute to the overall strategic direction and growth of the company’s operations; and be responsible for client development.
