Chris Ulrich got his start in the AEC industry as a building inspector before transitioning to design where he earned his Masters and Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Penn State and the University of New Haven, respectively. Since joining DCI in 2022, Chris has provided engineering designs on multi-million square-foot assisted living facilities, student housing, mixed-use apartments, and more across the mid-Atlantic. He finds the early phases of project development provide the best opportunities for creative, practical solutions to complex design problems. Chris utilizes DCI’s interconnectivity to collaborate with colleagues across offices, sharing intellectual resources to deliver clients the best solutions.
