With decades of civil engineering design experience, Darren is not only a great project manager with excellent client-relation skills, but also an effective team leader for the Seattle civil department, which he co-manages.  His technical capabilities cover a full spectrum of services, including site feasibility analysis, site design, construction monitoring, and contract administration. Darren’s experience and expertise enables him to provide our clients with innovative, cost-effective solutions that truly address the needs of the project.

  • What is your favorite piece of historical architecture?While in school, the most exciting field trip for me was an active silver mine in Idaho; being 4,200 feet below the ground in a tunnel was awesome.
  • What is your favorite thing about the DCI work environment?I love that everyone follows the motto, “together everyone achieves more.”  It’s much more productive than living by the principle that “if it is to be, it is up to me.”
  • If you weren’t an engineer, what would you be?I would have been a fighter pilot.
