We seek to create workplaces that reflect the diverse communities we work in and a culture where everyone feels valued, heard and included. A culture of belonging can only be accomplished when you also seek to make the communities around you better. We are committed to listening, learning and growing to support organizations and businesses that share these values. We will offer support to learning and educational organizations to offset the disparity for minorities in the engineering field to support a broader, diverse, future representation in this field. We will support our communities and explore methods for equity, diversity and inclusion at DCI.

DCI's Five Foundations of Change

We aren’t solely focused on building structures around us, but also focused on continuing to build a culture that embraces diverse ideas, equality, and celebrates the individual stories of our employees. We are taking action through our five foundations of change that we continue to build upon.

Equality

A core value at DCI. Equal access to hiring, education, mentorship, pay equity and advancement. Adopting inclusive business practices that are committed to fair, equitable and inclusive business processes.

Transparency

Promote and create open channels of communication and collaboration; connecting our employees to help shape the direction of our company with transparent reporting, platforms for communication, and accountability to measure ourselves against our goals.

Safe Spaces

A supportive environment with zero tolerance for any acts of racism, harassment and bias, with training to empower employees to help navigate and mitigate situations of hostility.

Community

Support a culture that promotes a range of ideas, lifestyles, and is inclusive through involvement and participation. Celebrate our many cultures and help educate staff about their co-workers’ customs and traditions.

Engagement

We are active together in this pursuit and include our employees at every opportunity. Support a workplace that reflects the diverse communities we serve and create a place where employees feel empowered to have their voices heard.
