DCI Portland won a 2018 Structural Engineering Association of Oregon (SEAO) Excellence in Structural Engineering Award for the Lloyd Center remodel project. Principal Wade Younie took home the trophy for the “Renovation” category. Originally built in 1960, the Lloyd Center shopping center underwent a $50 million renovation which completed in Spring 2017. The Lloyd Center is now positioned to maintain the title of being the largest shopping center in Oregon for years to come, thanks to upgrades that improve its structural integrity, architectural aesthetics and energy-efficiency.
Rose Bechtold | Rose comes from a journalism and technical writing background.
