Scott’s breadth of experience and expertise makes him a very valuable member of the DCI team. He has worked on projects all over the United States and internationally. His history of continuing to learn, trying new things, and pushing the boundaries of what is possible give him a well-informed perspective on how to solve complex building design problems with simplicity and efficiency. He has been designing performance based seismic design buildings for over 20 years and is now on the forefront of wind performance based design with his involvement in the ACI 318 wind performance based design committee. Scott is well known for his strong leadership, creative design solutions, and his collaborative ability to anticipate and satisfy the needs of all members of project teams.

What is your dream project location?
The mountains - they are one of my favorite places to be.

If you weren’t an engineer, what would you be?
I would probably be in the software industry so I could use my creativity.
