Craig T. Crowley
“The work hard/play hard mentality at DCI makes the working environment really great. In addition, there are so many opportunities to self-manage and take advantage of each person’s unique way of solving engineering problems.”
Craig joined the DCI team in 1997, right after completing his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Idaho. Since then, he has provided excellent structural design services for a variety of projects in the commercial, governmental, and industrial sectors. Within the industry, Craig has a great reputation for being an innovative designer and using the newest construction technologies to deliver cost-effective solutions. In fact, he is so highly regarded within the Spokane community that he was named one of the “Top 20 Under 40” by Inland Business Catalyst magazine in 2008.
- Where is your hometown? Post Falls, Idaho.
- What was your favorite class in college? I’d like to say physics or linear algebra, but it was probably volleyball, tennis, or basketball.
- What is your favorite piece of historical architecture? Machu Picchu – I was awestruck by the civil, structural, and geotechnical engineering that went into the design considering it was constructed in the 15th century!
