Paul D. Rogness

Principal, Alaska Office Manager, Anchorage

“As an engineer, I like the whole process, from conceptual design through construction.  However, during the beginning, schematic design phase, using our experience and creativity to determine the most efficient structural solution that meets the architectural needs is probably the most rewarding part of the design process.”

Paul has been a valued member of the DCI team since 1999.  He has provided project management and structural design for a wide variety of project types throughout the west coast and Alaska including the commercial, residential, educational, industrial, and health care sectors, using a wide range of construction materials. His responsibilities include project management, project design, coordination with the design team, and construction support services.  He works to provide the owner with cost-effective, efficient designs that suit the needs of their project.  Born and raised in Alaska, Paul recently moved from the Seattle office to start DCI’s Anchorage office.
