Troy E. Bean

Principal, Missoula

"In our world, it’s not just about coming up with a solution; it’s all about coming up with the best solution."

Troy has more than 30 years of engineering experience, and he has designed a variety of municipal, industrial, commercial, residential, and agricultural buildings utilizing a variety of construction materials. Troy manages to maintain ongoing lines of communication among the entire design team, making him a true asset to any project.  Most recently, he has become DCI’s in-house expert on modular wood-framed construction, making him an excellent resource for many developers and architects, as well as other engineers within the company. Overseeing DCI’s modular projects, such as the award-winning N-Habit, gave him the confidence to advocate this type of construction approach for expedient turnaround of urban multifamily housing. He partnered with WoodWorks (Wood Products Council) to become a guest speaker at their live AEC social media event by contributing insight about wood modular construction and how this specific built environment can trend in the future.
