Awards News: a Summary of DCI's Recent Accolades

DCI Engineers wrapped up 2020 with notable award achievements from Engineering News Record, DJCOregon, and the Zweig Group.

Gonzaga University Woldson Performing Arts Center won ENRNorthwest’s 2020 Best Project award in the Cultural/Worship category! Principal Justin Cook and Associate Matthew Thomas led the structural engineering design for this versatile, multi-level concert hall which also includes teaching and educational spaces. The project team successfully achieved the design criteria for the performing arts building to be a lasting landmark on campus. Watch DCI accept their very first ENR regional award!

Associate Kyle Kraxberger was recognized by DJCOregon as one of the 16 selected “Phenoms of the Year,” a statewide honor acknowledging the building industry’s up-and-coming professionals. Phenoms were chosen for their significant contributions to their firm, region, and field. The professions represented in the group included architecture, engineering, construction, development, transportation, energy, and sustainability. DCI Engineers ranked #63 in Zweig Group’s 2020 Hot Firm List. Zweig Group, a consulting firm, evaluated and ranked 100 AEC firms by both dollar and percentage of revenue growth rate over a three-year timeframe.
