DCI Promotes Several Staff/Team Members

SEATTLE, Wash. – May 20, 2019 -- DCI Engineers, a civil and structural engineering firm, is pleased to announce the promotion of the following staff to their various roles.

Lindsey Bosworth, PE, has been promoted to Project Manager in the Bozeman, Montana office. Since joining the firm, she has contributed to numerous residential, K-12 schools, hospitality, renovation, and National Park Service projects. She has helped clients with structural assessments, seismic stabilization plans, foundation evaluations, and upgrades. Her attention to detail and customer service aptitude led her to more leadership responsibilities on her team. Lindsey is part of DCI’s in-house existing buildings, evaluation, retrofit, and demolition technical committee.

Alex Smith, PE, has been promoted to Project Manager in the Bozeman office. Since joining DCI, he has taken on residential, K-12 schools, commercial, hospitality, and special structure projects such as outdoor art installations in Fishtail, Montana. His routine contributions include building assessments, renovation plans, feasibility studies, and construction sets. He is a member of the firm’s in-house wood, steel and aluminum, and masonry technical committees. His dedication to work quality and client service prepared him for his new responsibilities.

Brian Zirbel, PE, has been promoted to Project Manager in the Bozeman office. Since joining the firm, he has taken on more leadership responsibilities with each project assigned to him. Brian has supported projects ranging from high-end residential, multi-family residential, commercial, higher education facilities, renovations, and expansions. His primary focus is on the design of post-tensioned concrete and steel structures. Brian is a member of the Structural Engineers Association of Montana and DCI’s in-house steel and aluminum technical committee.

Trevor McCullough has been promoted to Assistant CAD Manager. He has been with DCI’s Missoula office since 2013 and has provided design concepts for residential, commercial and K-12 new construction and additions throughout Montana, including the 304,000-sf Bozeman High School. Trevor is a graduate from Montana State University – Northern with a bachelor’s technology degree in both Design Drafting Technology and Civil Engineering.

Jeff Sizemore has been promoted to CAD Manager in DCI’s Anchorage office. Some of his most notable projects include the Hyatt House, located just south of downtown Anchorage, and 100 East Ocean Boulevard, a 30-story concrete tower in Long Beach, California. Although he initially enrolled in Video Production at the Art Institutes in Los Angeles and Seattle, Jeff decided to pursue a different career path, leading to more than 20 years in residential framing, modular construction, truss design and wall panel design. Nearly 15 of those years he’s dedicated to drafting, which have included a variety of project types and markets.

Mitchell McKay, PE, has been promoted to Project Manager in the Austin, Texas office. Since joining DCI, Mitchell has quickly become a reliable source for projects involving the Diversakore composite framing system. He regularly interfaces with project teams to develop framing plans, framing details, column reaction plans, structural options, and document sets. His project types range from mixed-use, commercial office, hospitality, residential, and podium structures. Mitchell is a member of DCI’s in-house concrete, steel and aluminum, and modular design technical committees. He is also a member of the Structural Engineers Association of Georgia (SEAOG).

Blanca Flores, PE, LEED® AP has been promoted to Project Manager in DCI’s San Diego office. Her work over the past four years with the firm has included several high-profile mixed-use, hotel residential developments in San Diego, including the Alexan in East Village and Shift Apartments. Blanca earned her bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from University of the Pacific and master’s in Structural Engineering from San Diego State University.

Jennifer Oxrieder has been promoted to Agent in the Right of Way department. Before joining DCI’s Spokane office in March 2018 as a Project Coordinator, she spent the past four years working in the apartment leasing business. Some of Jennifer’s recent work includes the 164th Street Sidewalk Improvements project for the City of Covington and the Priest River Airport project in Idaho.
