Project Highlights

  • Facility consists of four stories of residential units, 18 memory care units, and gathering areas such as dining rooms, living rooms, and a theater.
  • Constructed with a single-story, post-tensioned concrete parking structure supporting four levels of cold-formed steel framing.
  • Cold-formed steel portion of the building utilizes joists with balloon framed cold-formed studs.
  • Because the memory care units vary in width with the units above, there were several areas where the bearing wall system could not stack. The discontinuous walls are therefore supported with structural steel beams and columns.
