A multi-phased project that included the inspection and analysis of the previous pedestrian bridge, located at the State of Montana Capitol Complex. The old Metcalf Bridge had experienced high levels of deterioration and required a replacement. This new modular steel bridge is made with weathering steel and is topped with a concrete walkway. The bridge also changed from a two-span to a 70-foot single-span, increasing the walkway width to eight feet.
