What You’ll Do:

As a BIM Designer, you will play a key role in supporting structural projects through accurate and organized drafting and documentation:

  • Apply company standards to perform Revit and AutoCAD drafting to produce high-quality construction documents
  • Communicate with project engineers and managers regarding projects and scheduling
  • Review completed drafting work and compare with mark-ups and sketches
  • Maintain and organize project files according to company protocols
  • Continuously grow your technical skills and knowledge through internal project experience and mentorship

What You Bring:

To succeed as a BIM Designer, you should bring the following skills and experiences:

  • 3+ years of BIM experience working with design teams in the architecture, engineering, or construction industry in Revit 2017 or higher. AutoCAD experience a plus. 
  • Structural drafting/design experience with steel, concrete, wood, and masonry preferred
  • Knowledge of construction processes (preferred)
  • Attention to detail, a service-oriented mindset, and effective communication
  • Approachable, collaborative, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong interest in learning and growing within a structural engineering environment
