DCI worked with Premier Steel to develop the Fast Cast Bridge® system, a prefabricated composite steel and concrete bridge class box culvert following the Accelerated Bridge Construction (ABC) technology of AASHTO. To date, our team has worked with Premier Steel to install 30+ Fast Cast Bridges across the country, each with specific location considerations.
One such bridge included the replacement of the Old Morris Highway bridge—a multi-culvert structure—which had been washed out by flood damage on the Muscogee Reservation, located in Okmulgee County, Oklahoma. The replacement involved a new 40-foot span, two-lane, Fast Cast Bridge class box culvert design. The installation took just three days and won a Bridge Project of the Year award in 2025.
