Engineering at the foot of Manhattan

DCI’s New York office sits on its own full floor high above Lower Manhattan’s Financial District, where engineers look up from their desks to the Statue of Liberty and step out to the Charging Bull at the front door. It is a young, international team — colleagues from across the United States and around the world — and that mix shows in the energy: people who are eager to learn, quick to raise their hands, and genuinely enthusiastic about seeing their buildings go up. The work is as varied as the city, from new construction and affordable housing to the careful renovation of landmark buildings and structures tucked up against the subway lines, so no two projects look alike. Off the clock the team keeps it social, with happy hours and lunches and a standing habit of welcoming DCI colleagues visiting from other offices.
