DCI ENGINEERS' NEW ASSOCIATES

DCI Engineers, a civil and structural engineering firm, is pleased to announce the promotion and hiring of the following staff to their new roles.

 

Gaelyn Krauser, PE, SE, has been promoted to Associate in the Seattle office. She has become a recognized leader at the firm and a familiar face on the campus of her alma mater California Polytechnic State University during career fairs. Since joining DCI, Gaelyn has enhanced her technical skills and project management abilities with commercial, residence, hospitality, mixed-use, high-rise, and tenant improvement projects. Her most notable projects include Downtown Seattle Marriott Residence Inn, Viejas Casino Hotel, SOMA Towers, and Wasatch Superblock in Bellevue. One of her current projects includes the high-profile 1500 Mission in San Francisco. She is involved with in-house technical committees for high-rises, steel and aluminum, concrete, and design loads. Gaelyn is a member of the Post-Tensioning Institute (PTI) and the Seattle chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW).

 

Eric Pope, PE, SE, has been promoted to Associate in the Seattle office. His engineering contributions and leadership for a variety of residential, commercial, and hospitality projects led to his advancement in the firm. Some of his completed projects include The Danforth and the Murano Senior Living in Seattle. Eric is currently project manager for the 1001 Office Towers in Bellevue. He is involved with in-house technical committees for high-rises, steel and aluminum, concrete, and design loads. Eric is a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP) Washington Chapter and the Structural Engineers Association of Washington (SEAW) Seattle Chapter.

 

Josh Comfort, PE, SE, has been promoted to Associate in the Spokane office. Over the years, Josh has become a reliable engineering source for his clients in California, Washington, and Idaho. His leadership skills have been recognized through the successful project management of a wide range of commercial, parking, single-family and multi-family residential, K-12 schools, tenant improvement, and medical facility projects. Of his many current projects, Josh is providing engineering support for parking structures, specialty steel design, and a hospitality project. He is involved with in-house technical committees for concrete, masonry, wood, mass timber, and parking structure design. He is a member and currently serves on the board of the Structural Engineers Association of Washington (SEAW) Spokane Chapter.

 

Robert Léger, PE, has been promoted to Associate in the Portland office. Within a short year at DCI, Robert quickly elevated his role while contributing to the office’s newly formed civil department by leading various residential, healthcare, site renovation, and hospitality projects. Experienced in project managing a myriad of site improvement plans, his expertise is stormwater design. Robert’s current projects include the North Clackamas School District’s El Puente Elementary and New Urban High School. He is a member of Engineers Without Borders, Portland Chapter.

 

Casey Stevenson, PE, has joined DCI as an Associate in the Bozeman office. He brings more than 12 years of engineering experience to the firm and has led industrial projects throughout the U.S., Canada, and the Middle East. Casey’s capabilities include nuclear structures, power/energy infrastructure, mining equipment, construction engineering, vibration mitigation, and structural investigation. He will be a project leader for DCI’s industrial support teams represented in Spokane and Seattle. He is a member of the ASCE 7 Seismic Subcommittee and the ASTM Fasteners Committee.
