SEATTLE, Wash.  – January 9, 2018 -- DCI Engineers, a civil and structural consulting engineering firm, is pleased to announce Principal Troy Bean transferred from our Seattle office to our Missoula, Montana office.

Troy takes 20+ years of DCI leadership, experience and knowledge to the intermountain states. While at the Seattle office, he sharpened his engineering expertise in the design of wood-framed modular construction, particularly for the award-winning N-Habit Belltown project in downtown Seattle. Knowledgeable in tilt-up concrete design, Troy also oversaw the design of the 1.5 million-sf Project Granite warehouse in DuPont, Washington. His design experience ranges from municipal, industrial, commercial, residential, and agricultural buildings built with a variety of construction materials.

In June 2017, DCI merged with BCE Structural (BCE), a structural engineering firm with offices in Missoula, Bozeman, and Kalispell, Montana. Both organizations share a culture of hard work and love of their profession and continue a tradition of high quality engineering and dedicated client service throughout the West. BCE also has extensive experience in heavy timber and bridge projects, along with a broad area of private and public work, adding to DCI’s ever-expanding portfolio and allowing clients to capitalize on both added capabilities and expanded geographic coverage.
