Damon A. Smith
“The most gratifying part of our profession is the sense of accomplishment when a construction project is completed and put to good use by the intended users. Since I was a kid, I have enjoyed building everything from model airplanes to tree houses. That same feeling of accomplishment is present in every project I design today.”
Since joining the DCI team in 2000, Damon has led the company’s civil engineering department. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Engineering from Washington State University and over 23 years of professional experience in the public and private sector, he brings valuable skills and knowledge to any project. In 2012, Damon moved from Spokane, Washington to Irvine, California to start DCI’s new office in Orange County, then to Portland, Oregon. With such well-developed leadership skills and a strong emphasis on teamwork, Damon is an important asset to the DCI team, and he always brings positive results to his clients.
