Greg Gilda

Principal, Seattle

"I have always loved the building process – whether it is building a structure or a team.  My most satisfying projects are those that require collaboration with all of the members of the team from the owner to the design team to the construction team.  I think many people miss out on these collaborative opportunities because they don’t see how their work can affect the other disciplines.  Project teams that take the time to see these effects are able to provide the owner with successful and constructible designs."

Greg has over 20 years of structural engineering and project management experience with commercial, educational, residential, religious, and public projects.  In addition to providing clients with creative, cost-effective structural solutions, Greg also invests heavily in the advancement and technical growth of other engineers within the company.  He has become an expert at maintaining a balance between effective project management and valuable mentorship, which is a great asset for the younger generation of engineers at DCI.
