I have always loved the building process – whether it is building a structure or a partnership with our clients. My most satisfying projects are those that require collaboration with all of the members of the team - from the owner to the design team to the construction team. The exciting part is coming up with a constructible design together that isn’t a ‘one-size-fits-all’ solution. That approach brings the most value to the client and the project."

Greg has more than 30 years of structural engineering and project management experience with commercial, educational, residential, religious, sustainable, and public projects. In addition to providing clients with creative, cost-effective structural design, Greg also invests heavily in the advancement and technical growth of other engineers within the company. He has become an expert at maintaining a balance between effective project management and valuable mentorship. Greg is the Principal In Charge of DCI’s Marketing Department and a member of the firm’s Executive Management Team.

  • What is your favorite piece of historical architecture? Gaudi’s Parc Guell in Barcelona, Spain.
  • Why do you like structural engineering? I’ve always loved math, science, and building things (thanks to my mathematician father who also loved to build, tinker, and teach). Structural engineering has given me the opportunity to combine these passions.
  • What would you name an engineering superhero? Wood S. Good.
