“It’s cliché but it’s true – the greatest thing about being an engineer at DCI is the people. You not only get the answers you need from your mentors and peers, but you get to teach others your experiences, and you see how much they absorb and appreciate it.”

Ever since joining the firm in 2013, David has witnessed—hands on—Seattle’s transformation through engineering design solutions. His contributions have included a range of project types and materials, everything from wood podium to steel high-rise structures.

Known for sharing his knowledge, David values his professional relationships as much as the work itself. In addition to pointing out the projects he’s worked on throughout the area, he can also add the value he’s provided to his teams, one of which included using seismic dampers to make a giant cantilevered canopy behave while it provided some give to snow loads.
