Jason Peterson

Senior BIM Manager, Spokane

As a kid, I always enjoyed drawing houses. In school, my favorite class was CAD – and so computer drafting became my profession. When I drive around town, I love seeing all the projects I’ve had a hand in over the last 20+ years."

Jason has produced drawings and models for more than 20 years at DCI, so he is familiar with delivering quality construction documents to satisfied clients and contractors. He knows the level of detail needed in drawing packages to present clear information to guide the construction process. His extensive project experience makes him a valuable technical resource to his colleagues when it comes to streamlining drawings, particularly for steel structural systems.

His portfolio includes K-12 schools, university facilities, athletic centers, parking structures, multi-family residences, and various remodel projects. The Ferris High School project highlights his adaptability in generating files that were a hybrid of CAD and Revit work. Jason approaches visualization of every project like a puzzle and enjoys working with the engineering team in developing informative drawings.
