There are so many variables to consider on a project and getting things started in the right direction can have a huge impact on project success.”

The self-described ski and hiking enthusiast joined DCI in 2007, applying his technical abilities to help clients obtain permitting that is so valuable to a project’s success. He has since added client management to his role as project manager and is heavily involved in providing staff mentorship within the firm’s civil department.

The Michigan Technological University graduate is skilled at jurisdictional guidelines, project scoping, and document preparation, applying his land development experience to what he calls a civil engineer’s greatest contribution in the grand scheme: "Practicality."

Where is your dream project location?
A mid-mountain ski lodge with a glass floor cantilevering over a very steep slope.

Where is your hometown?
I was born and raised in Traverse City, Michigan. I now reside on Mercer Island.
